I design and build AI interfaces for complex enterprise data products.
Most recently at IBM, defining how enterprise AI behaves when it is uncertain or wrong. Before that, converging five analytics products into one platform at NielsenIQ, and designing the guided workflow at the core of Nielsen’s acquisition of Precima.

Selected work
Two working AI prototypes I built in October 2026, three enterprise cases with the problem, my decisions and the work that shipped, and a venture I co-founded, including what went wrong. Filter by the kind of problem you are hiring for.

An AI assistant that admits what it doesn’t know
A working prototype of every state an AI feature needs inside an analytics product: ready, working, result, low confidence, error and corrected. Retail pricing, invented data. Click through it.

Designing AI people can verify
Teams had an AI mandate but no shared way to make agent output trustworthy. I led the patterns for where agents enter the work, how people check sources, and how answers become work they can edit.

Five analytics products, one platform
After an acquisition and rebrand, products had grown apart while teams kept shipping. I treated navigation and the object model as shared infrastructure, and gave dense analysis one path: orient, compare, explain.

From analyst reports to self-serve SaaS
Value depended on experts and custom reports. I built the UX practice from zero and designed the guided workflow that let non-specialists run enterprise-scale analytics. It became core to what Nielsen acquired in 2020.

Selling buildings before they exist
The launch campaign I designed for a luxury preconstruction building, the platform bet we didn’t build, an honest post-mortem, and a working AI concierge that answers buyers only from approved documents.

Before product leadership: interactive worlds, broadcast VFX and a Webby-honored campaign
Game design, VFX supervision, film marketing, and a studio co-founded and sold. The maker’s fluency behind the systems work.
Visit the LabHow I create leverage in complex products
My work is strongest where user experience, business logic, technical constraints and organizational process overlap. I clarify the work, turn repeated decisions into systems, and help teams scale quality beyond one-off screens.
Clarify
Frame the product problem, user workflow, business context and decision points before teams over-invest in execution.
Systemize
Turn repeated patterns into reusable structures: navigation models, information architecture, components, data-visualization rules, AI interaction principles and governance.
Scale
Build the operating model around the work so teams apply standards consistently across products, squads and release cycles.
What I’m hired to do
High-complexity product environments: enterprise software, analytics platforms, AI-enabled workflows, design systems, and the operating models that make design scale.
AI people can trust and correct
Transparency, human control, confidence, failure states and reviewability, designed into the workflow rather than added on.
Dense analytics that read clearly
Workflow definition, information architecture, navigation, decision paths, dashboard logic and task models for complex B2B products.
Systems teams actually use
Reusable standards, component thinking, contribution and review models, and practical alignment between design and engineering.
Clear calls for leaders and teams
What problem matters, why it matters, which trade-offs are real, and how the work should move forward.
Recognition
Earlier digital and interactive work was recognized across design, interactive media and growth-stage business programs.
